this section is literally packed with like 10TB of new jams. there is the up
to the minute releases from Smokepurrp, Ugly God, Rae Sremmurd and more.
AND REMEMBER IF AN INTRO EDIT OF THE SONG EXISTS.. ON THE LDS THE SONG WILL HAVE AN INTRO (and won't say it in the id3 tag) --
In this update I would say 85-90 percent have intros and same goes for clean cutz and pop singles
sections too!
Hip-hop is currently the most popular genre of music, dominating charts and streaming platforms.
POP SINGLES Song:
this section is kinda wacky now that hip-hop & rnb are combined in one section..
theres everything from new futurey-bass pop songs to edmy vocaly songs and all
the other big pop releases. and i went in and threw in all the new
releases out TODAY in here too!
INSTRUMENTALS + ACCAPELLAS Tools:
the inst and acca section is packed once again after a slow beginning of
the year when the major labels were withholding the instrumentals of big
songs to stop DIY acapellas from being made… but it now seems like
that trend might be on the way out!
TWERK MOOMBAH TWERK Song:
its great to see this section packed with new jams. over the past few
shipments i've put in anything from the 95-110bpm range in here.. so
expect all the new moombah shit, twerk remixes, and even vocaly 100bpm
stuff.
TRAAAP (FUTURE BASS) Song:
as future bass becomes the biggest genre in EDM for the summer this section just keeps growing and growing. i literally go thru thousands of future bass
songs to create Girl Trapz and my livesets and what goes in this section
is the shit i think is well made or that im feeling. Also you might
notice some more uptempoy songs in the section that still fall into the
Future Bass feels. A high-energy, festival-friendly style, known for its powerful drops and anthemic melodies.
CLUB JERSEY CLUB Song:
this is another section that i thought was dead in the water at the
beginning of the year but thanks to some new small labels putting out
comps and more and more jersey producers putting up their shit for DL..
it keeps growing and growing. don't sleep on this section theres some
bangers in there.
SMALL ROOM & BIG ROOM HOUSE & MAINSTAGE:
these two sections are packed as always and its getting tougher and tougher
to divide the newer bass house songs into either section but hopefully
the sorting makes sense. It is characterized by a focus on massive drops and catchy, anthemic melodies designed to fill the room and get everyone moving.
TRAAAP (HARD TRAP):
this section tho the bread and butter for all the big EDM djs out there
was/is starting to sound all the same so I went on the hunt for newer
weirder shit.. so its packed with some hidden gems. Influenced by hip-hop, with heavy 808s, hi-hats, and a more laid-back feel compared to other EDM genres.
Producer pack for music production:
A collection of samples, loops, MIDI files, presets, and other audio assets designed to be used in music creation. These samples are organized into folders and catalogued so users can easily find the sounds they need for a production. Download dj tools, FX, Studio Acapella, Scratch Beats, Samples, Producer Pack VSTi, TUTORiAL Video, Loops.

Bassline is a sub-genre of UK Garage that originated in Yorkshire and the Midlands in the early 2000s. Stylistically, it comprises a four-to-the-floor rhythm, normally at around 135–142 beats per minute, a strong emphasis on bass, and a pop music aesthetic similar to 2-step garage. bassline and UK garage share a common origin in house music but are different sounds, while major bassline distributor and DJ Mystic Matt describes bassline as having a similar rhythm to UK garage, but that the strong emphasis on bass makes it a separate genre. Top Artist MPH, Interplanetary Criminal, Original Koffee, Luke Dean, Skepta, Sammy Virji, Charlie Shell, Luke Dean, Sammy Virji, Riordan, Oppidan, venbee, Bushbaby, Eloq.
Organic house is a subgenre of house music that emphasizes acoustic instruments and natural sounds. The genre was made as a way to express a "deeper, more meditative, and occasionally slower shades of house music. As most of us on this sub know, the “organic” it relevant to the sound, as it comes from there being an element of natural instrumentation or vocals within the track, and that it doesn’t sound too digitised. It’s mature, well produced, containing eastern influences etc.
The genre blends danceable beats with emotional melodies, harmonies, and atmospheres. A gentle kick drum serves as the foundation with some discreet percussion. That is Melodic House in a nutshell: understated, dreamy, introspective, and elegant. However, we’re still grounded in House music. The kick drum is one every beat with a clap or snare usually placed on the 2s and 4s. Melodic house is a new term to me as well. When I listen to tracks that are under the melodic house genre, I can't help but say to myself this is progressive. Or at least this is the sound that progressive music.
Mashup Pack Mashup Music:
mashup (also mesh, mash up, mash-up, blend, bastard pop or bootleg) is a creative work, usually a song, created by blending two or more pre-recorded songs, typically by superimposing the vocal track of one song seamlessly over the instrumental track of another and changing the tempo and key where necessary. A mashup is a music track created by blending elements of two different songs to create a new song. For example, a producer or DJ creates a mashup by taking the instrumental track from one song and the vocal track from another to create a new track, reworking the song in different keys and tempos as needed.
See alot of 'Bootlegs' of popular songs online but i'm having trouble finding a solid definition. Some people say it refers to an unauthorized remix of a song whilst others say its a mashup of two songs or a song with added effects A unoffical/unsolicited/unapproved release A remix made from a whole song (versus stems), usually because the remixer only has access to the officially released song because they don't have the original artists permission/help in making the remix. A bootleg, also known as a bootleg remix, is a version of a song that has been created and distributed without the authorization of the original artist or copyright owner.
- Reggae music today is a vibrant and evolving genre, blending traditional Jamaican sounds with influences from other genres, modern Reggae is a genre of music that combines traditional reggae with elements of other genres, such as hip-hop, R&B, and pop like hip-hop, R&B, and electronic music. Modern reggae often features a mix of classic reggae rhythms and contemporary production techniques.
Reggaeton is a modern style of popular and electronic music that originated in Panama during the late 1980s, and which rose to prominence in the late 1990s.
- The Reggaeton genre, like most other genres, has mainstream artists who get overplayed and become annoying over time, and less known or underground artists who have very good lyrics regarding politics, social issues, genuine romance, etc. but get excluded from mainstream play.Another way to explain the rise of reggaeton music is its ability to get a roomful of people to start dancing; tracks like Guaynaa’s Rebota make for amazing party and club music. This gives clubs and radio stations ample reason to play reggaeton since its upbeat nature sparks friendly communal interactions.
- DanceHall - First of all, dancehall is distinctly a sub genre of reggae, it is for the dancehall and targeted towards the youth (artists as Vybz Kartel, Mavado, Beenieman, Bounty).Reggae is alive and well…have you heard of Tarrus Riley, Jah Cure, Richie Spice? I doubt it. You are just confused. Original dancehall of the early eighties like barrington levy, josey wales, toyan, jah thomas, charlie chaplin, is SO far removed from dancehall nowadays, (its like R&B in the sixties was a very different genre to what it is now). You can't hate 'Today's reggae music' your looking in the wrong places, the sound system driven Roots/Dub sub genre.
Rock 'n' Roll - This is the earliest form of Rock Music, popular around the 50s. You've got upbeat songs that are quite danceable, and the songs are somewhat simplistic. Artists include Elvis and Chuck Berry. The Music Genres List site covers many of the most popular styles of Rock music. Glam rock applies more to 70s artists like David Bowie, T. Rex, Roxy Music, and New York Dolls. The 80s bands are mostly glam metal, which was influenced by glam rock but is also distinct from it. Rock music, while not as dominant in the mainstream as it once was, continues to evolve and thrive with numerous subgenres Avantgarde, Black Metal, Blues, Death Metal, Ethnic, Folk, Hardcore, Heavy Metal, Metal, New Wave, Progressive Rock, Punk, Punk Rock, Trash Metal, Alternative Rock, Psychedelic Rock,

The Most Popular Genre Streamed Is By Far Hip-Hop/R&B accounted for 30.7% of all streams across platforms, making it by far the most dominant genre in 2025. EDM Is No Longer In The Top 5 For Streamed Genres EDM continued to decline in streaming numbers and ranked 6th in 2024. Here’s a list of the genres in order: Hip-Hop/R&B – 31.6% Rock – 13.8% Pop – 15.5% Latin – 7.3% Country – 6.2% EDM – 6.2%
In the begginin of this decade we had the Pop revival, SKA, Synthpop, disco and Afrobeats. Now we are in a weird country stage. i feel like dance music will turn into something different thanks to the Gen Alpha. Maybe EDM more influenced by Club Music, videogames and chiptune? maybe something more ethereal? Techno? dont know. Spooky maybe? I also feel like Urban Music will have a comeback eventually. Dancey R&B infused music? Dancehall again? Would love new genres takin over.
But it's interesting to hear that hip-hop is starting to decline. Maybe it's in a similar state to rock in the mid 2000s when it was just past the peak but not in such obvious decline yet? It's hard to imagine what genre might fill in the vacuum now that genres are fading away and everything is just written for the Tik Tok format. Above all, music made to fit the Tiktok medium. An obnoxious and/or catchy chorus tied to forgettable verses and overall a short song length. The phenomenon of adapting music to the popular formats at the time isn't new, but I don't recall a moment when it was this obvious.
The medium is the message. Wildest prediction for music is perhaps we’ll see the return of boy/girl bands by the end of the decade. I think there will be an emphasis on “real musicianship”, “we write our own songs”, and “self-created beats” so they seem “authentic” to differentiate themselves from previous waves. Think more Ace of Base or Jonas Brothers than Spice Girls or N’SYNC. The general public is still wary of A.I. and there will be this sort of pandering to reassure the public they are listening to actual people. I think there will be a few random A.I. hits by 2034 however.
